Vacation With A Purpose,Inc. is a non-profit 5013c ministry that is non-denominational and does work projects locally in Western Pennsylvania, Nationally in the United States, and Internationally in the World. We go where we are invited and do what we can do to help those in need of physical and spiritual help.  Each person pays their own expenses and the project owners pay for materials.

 

In the past we have done projects locally known as "A Home of Your Own" where we have rebuilt mobile homes and sold them to low income families for the cost of the materials.

 

We also do local projects such as rebuilding homes that have been destroyed in disasters and building ramps for the handicapped.

 

We have also worked in Lithuania working on the "Red School Project" in Kybartai.  We helped to rebuild a school with volunteers from all over the world.

 

We take a "Vacation With A Purpose", trip yearly for the purpose of having a fun vacation in the fellowship of persons that we may or may not know and get to make new friends.  In 2008 we took a Transatlantic European Cruise beginning in London and ending in Flordia. 

 

We have been to Germany 7 times.  The last time we worked on a Mentally Handicapped Home in a part of the former east Germany.  It was a time to share our skills and share our faith as well.

 

All persons of all faiths and ages are invited to travel with us.  No skills are required, only a willing spirit.
